Jason Townsend Spivey
July 14, 1972 - January 3, 2019

Jason Townsend Spivey, 46, passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior on January 3, 2019, surrounded by loved ones. Jason was born to John Thomas and Anna Lee Spivey on July 14, 1972 in Dallas, Texas. Jason was a 1990 graduate of Greenville High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station in 1994 and a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1997. At the time of his death, he was pursuing a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. Jason was employed by L3 Technologies in Greenville. Jason was a member of and served as a deacon at Park Street Baptist Church. Jason married Laurie Salo on June 5, 1999. He is survived by her and their children - a son, Wyatt Spivey; and daughters, Lydia Spivey, Lily Spivey, and Lucy Spivey – all at home in Greenville. He is also survived by his mother, Anna of Greenville and sisters, Deann Ash (Arthur Serrano) of Pflugerville and Denise (Bryan) Hawkins of Corpus Christi. He was preceded in death by his father.
