Gerald R. King, Jr.
1920 - 2015

Mr. Gerald R. King, Jr., age 95, of San Augustine, passed from this life late Monday evening, December 28, 2015, in Nacogdoches.

He was born August 9, 1920, in San Antonio, Texas. He was a decorated World War II Veteran having served in the United States Army Air Corp as a Para-Trooper. He was affiliated with the Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by, Son, Gerald I. King of San Augustine; Daughter, Sally Coleman and her husband, Joe of Austin; His grandchildren, Elizabeth, Melissa and Erin.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2015, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with Bro. Chris Burris officiating. Interment will be in the San Augustine City Cemetery in San Augustine. Visitation will be begin at 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, 316 West Columbia Street, San Augustine, Texas 75972

Pallbearers will include, Larry Hardy, Phil Sublett, Lud Davis, William Richards, Austin Little and Andrew Little.
