Gary Napper
AUGUST 5, 1949 – JANUARY 29, 2019

Gary Napper, age 69, of Schertz, Texas passed away on Tuesday January 29, 2019. Gary was born August 5, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas.
Gary graduated from Texas A&M University in 1971 and was commissioned in the United States Army as a Second Lieutenant. He was assigned to Fort Bliss, El Paso, TX, where he served as an Air Defense Artillery Officer. After separating from the Army, Gary went to work for City Public Service in Energy Conservation and retired after 33 years. He also retired from Texas A&M Energy Systems Laboratory after working ten years as an Energy Management Specialist.

Gary was ordained as a Baptist Deacon in 1996 and faithfully served as an Usher and Greeter at the First Baptist Church in Universal City, TX.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ruth Napper. He is survived by his wife Terri; daughter Tracey Priddy (Carl); grandchildren Kaylin, John Thomas, and Taylor; and his brothers Larry Napper (Mary Linton) and Bill Napper. He is also survived by his nephew John David Napper (Angela) and their children, nephew Robert Napper (Whitney), and dear friend Doran Dennis.

A visitation for Gary will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church, 1401 Pat Booker Road, Universal City, Texas 78148, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's memory can be made specifically to the "ALL IN FOR FIRST AND IMPACT" fund at First Baptist Church Universal City.
