Michael Marvin Chudej
Chudej, Michael Marvin, 64, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019. His funeral service was conducted at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Pearland, Texas and the interment followed at the Vsetin Czech-Moravian Brethren Church Cemetery in Hallettsville, Texas. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Vernon and Vivian Chudej; son, Luke Chudej; daughter, Holly Chudej; sister, Susan Chudej; former wife, Mary Chudej; and a host of other family and friends. Michael graduated from Texas A&M University in 1978, then relocated to Michigan in 1987. He loved to play tennis and had a passion for square dancing. Michael had a servant’s heart and believed strongly in helping others in need. He fought valiantly after his diagnosis with esophageal cancer and returned to Houston as he went through treatment. Michael will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service for Michael will be held Saturday February 9, 2019 at 11:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church, 3401 E. River Rd, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858. Donations may be made in Michael’s honor to the Isabella Community Soup Kitchen, 621 South Adams Street, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan 48858.
