Frederick Jackson Gaugler Sr.
DECEMBER 8, 1928 – JANUARY 15, 2019
Frederick Jackson Gaugler, of Houston, Texas, passed away on January 15, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather to all who knew him.
He was born in Houston, Texas on December 8, 1928 to the late Frederick William Gaugler and Mary Harriett Gaugler. He attended Texas A&M University and graduated from the University of Houston after serving in the Korean War. He worked at Exxon for 33 years where he met his wife. After working at Exxon he joined Union Texas Petroleum where he worked for 10 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Mary Beth Gaugler; his father Frederick William Gaugler, his mother Mary Harriett Gaugler, and sister Eleanor Smith.
He is survived by his sons Frederick Jackson Gaugler, Jr. and William Edward Gaugler; his daughter in law Jamie L. Gaugler; his grandchildren Kelley L. Gaugler and Katherine A. Gaugler; his nieces and nephew.
