Paul Eugene Napper
Born: February 10, 1925
Died: January 19, 2019
Location: San Antonio, Texas

Paul Eugene Napper, age 93, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019, in San Antonio. He was born on February 10, 1925, in Springfield, Missouri, to parents, Nellie M. and Elmer Eugene Napper.

Gene graduated from Jefferson High School in 1942 and Texas A&M University in 1946. Paul served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Pacific Theater. He operated Kindell Tire Company and was later a Service Advisor for Cavender Automotive Group. Paul was very active at his church, Manor Baptist Church, later becoming First Mexican Baptist Church, where he was honored as Deacon Emeritus.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Annie Ruth Cooner Napper.

Gene is survived by his sons, Larry C. Napper (Mary Linton), Gary Eugene Napper (Terri), and Bill J. Napper; grandchildren, Tracey Priddy (Carl), John David Napper (Angela), and Robert Eugene Napper (Whitney); 5 great grandchildren; and dear friend, Doran Dennis.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at 10:00 A.M., at First Mexican Baptist Church, 201 Meredith Drive. Pastor Flores will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VITAS Hospice or First Mexican Baptist Church.
