OCTOBER 22, 1969 – DECEMBER 29, 2018
Darryl Anthony Dincans, 49, of Victoria passed away on December 29, 2018. Darryl was born October 22, 1969 in Victoria to Alvin T. Dincans Jr. and Alice F. Kazmir Dincans. Darryl went to Victoria High School and graduated from Texas A&M University. He worked as an engineer for the Texas Department of Transportation for 14 years. Darryl was a Texas A&M Aggies football fan and was known for his affinity for spicy foods. Darryl is survived by his parents; step-mother, Connie Dincans; sister, Audrey Dincans; half-sister, Marsha (Joe) Dincans Bland; half-brother, Darwin (Janet) Dincans; niece, Tara Bland and nephew, Jeremy Dincans. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lillie May and Alvin T. Dincans Sr and John and Sophie Kazmir. Darryl will lie in state at Rosewood Funeral Chapels on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 4- 7 PM. A rosary will be recited Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 9:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church with a funeral mass to follow at 10 am. Burial will follow at the Hirschhauser Cemetery in Inez, TX. A reception will be held following the burial at Holy Family Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Walter “Butch” Dixon, Justin Dixon, Darwin Dincans, Joe Bland, Roy Lara, John Lara, Kenneth Sanchez and Jason Bryant. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Darryl’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Words of comfort may be shared at www.rosewoodfuneralchapel.com.
