Victor M. Williams, Jr.
January 2, 1924 - December 21, 2018
Victor M. Williams, Jr. of Plano, Texas passed away on December 21, 2018 at the age of 94. He was born on January 2, 1924 to Victor M. Williams, Sr. and Eunice Bell (Leckie) Williams in San Antonio, Texas. Victor married Bettye Weller on April 19, 1947 in Jennings, Louisiana. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Victor graduated from Texas A & M University where he was a member of The Core. He was also a member of the Texas Gun Collectors. Victor loved growing orchids. He was a member of The Conservatory Church.
Victor is survived by his daughter, Mary Anne Knapp of Keene, New Hampshire; grandchildren, Laura Sobolak of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, David Knapp of Krakow, Poland, Christian Elliott of Jackson, Michigan; Erica Cabral of Illinois and John Carson of Hawaii; fourteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Victor, Sr. and Eunice Williams; wife, Bettye Williams; and daughter Carolyn Elliott.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
