Mr. John Michael Borthayre, 47, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 3, 2018, in McKinney, Texas. He was born on Monday, March 1, 1971, to his loving and thoughtful parents Philippe Pierre Borthayre and Melinda Varrett Gelder in Middletown Ohio. Mr. John Michael Borthayre will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Philippe Pierre Borthayre. He is survived by his wife, Toni Mason Borthayre; A son, Jackson Philippe Thomas two daughters, Elizabeth Margaret Michelle and Camille Marie Mason; his mother, Melinda Borthayre; Two sisters, Margaret Lesmes (Rick Lesmes) and her family and Elizabeth Bennett (Cory Bennett) and her family. As well as mother-in-law and father-in-law, Fred and Peggy Mason of Austin, TX and three sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, three nieces, four nephews.
