Michelle Lea Owen
OCTOBER 4, 1971 – OCTOBER 17, 2018
Michelle Lea Owen, 47, passed away on October 17, 2018.
Services will be Saturday, October 20, at 11am, at the Southeast Church of Christ, in Friendswood, TX, with Rick Fyffe officiating.
Michelle was born in Fort Worth, TX on 10/4/71 and grew up in Clear Lake City, TX. She graduated from Texas A&M at Galveston with a degree in Maritime Administration and worked at United Postal Service as an International Export Agent.
She loved NASCAR, the Aggies, the Astros, Tiffany Blue, air conditioning, watching movies, going to the family’s bay house and spending time with loved ones on the pier.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Larry Wayne Owen and Lina Fay Kuehn Owen of Clear Lake City, TX, grandfather, Charles Wayne Owen of North Richland Hills, TX and Fay Dowdle of Elgin, TX
She will be dearly missed by her friends and loved ones. She is survived by her children, Renee VanDeLinder and Anthony VanDeLinder. A sister, Denise Perry and husband Chris Perry of Friendswood, TX. Nieces, Julianna and Mikaela, and nephews, Owen and Brayden. Her grandmother, Dean Owen of North Richland Hills, TX and grandfather, Clyde Dowdle of Elgin, TX
In addition, aunts and uncles Jimmy Owen and Jim Sherrill of Dallas, Jeri and Bryan Shelby of Bedford, TX, Debbie and Larry Hightower of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Kim and Bob Neely of Georgetown, TX James and Beth Kuehn of Dallas, TX along with too many cousins to mention.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lifeline Chaplaincy in Houston or the Salvation Army in Austin
