Gilbert Aaron Springfield

He graduated from Texas A&M in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science. He went on to be a Senior Field Service Engineer for Westinghouse. He served in the United States Navy. He was married to his wife DeLoris Springfield in 1961 until her passing in 2008. They had two sons, Lane E. Springfield and wife Pamela, and Gilbert A Springfield III and wife Tammy. He had five grandchildren, Chad, Jessica, Cortney, Sydney, and Erin. Three Great- grandchildren, Kyle, Shelby, and Caden. He passed away on September 11, 2018 in Georgetown, TX.

Gilbert Springfield, 82, of Georgetown, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. A visitation will begin at 1, Saturday, September 15, with a memorial service at 2pm, both in Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, 3001 South College Ave, Bryan. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Center, Bryan-College Station.
