Ann Mullman Marsh
APRIL 8, 1940 ~ AUGUST 22, 2018 (AGE 78)

It is with great sadness that the family of Ann Marsh announces her passing.

Ann Margaret Mullman Marsh was born in Tulsa, OK to Otto E. Mullman and Margaret Converse Mullman. Ann graduated from Harding High School in OKC, attended OSU for two years, then received her diploma from OU in 1962. Ann was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. She received her Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from Texas A & M University in 1966.

Professionally, Ann worked at College Hills Elementary School as a counselor for 20 wonderful years. She thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work with the students, the fabulous teachers, and many of the parents. The special group of teachers are life-long friends. Ann helped to establish the College Hills Scholarship fund and is well known for teaching manners to so many. After retiring from College Hills, Ann worked in the Thesis Office at Texas A & M University. Once again, she loved the job, but the people are what made it special. In addition to all of this, Ann had rental properties and managed them herself for many years. You could say that it was her “summer job.” Ann’s favorite job of all was being a fabulous mother and a wonderful “Honey” to her grandchildren.

Ann made a difference in so many people’s lives. She was an active member and volunteer in A&M United Methodist Church, Habitat for Humanity, the local Zeta Tau Alpha chapter, and many other organizations. She hosted many exchange students over the years and “adopted” so many people. Friends were near and dear to her heart and she went out of her way to help people. Gracious, graceful, and a blessing to so many is how most will remember her. Cooking for friends and family was her favorite hobby. She loved to travel, enjoyed theatre and musical performances, reading, flowers, and bridge. Ann lived life to the fullest and was a vibrant lady.

Ann was proceeded in death by her parents, her daughter Sharon Hann Barrett, and her brother Don F. Mullman. She is survived by daughters Kimberly Walker and her husband Robert, Karen Shock and her husband Jamie, her son Roy Lee Hann and his wife Monica, her son-in-law George Barrett and his wife Katie, her grandchildren Jackson Walker, Davis Walker, Grace Barrett, and Riley Shock, her brother Mike Mullman and his wife Nancy, her sister-in-law Janice Mullman, her “adopted” daughter Maria Alexandra Moreno, dear cousin Judi Smith, and fabulous nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

Ann’s “Celebration of Life” service will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 11 AM at the A & M United Methodist Church, 417 University Dr., College Station, TX 77840. Since it is a Celebration of Life, Ann had previously requested that people wear bright, vibrant colors instead of black.
