Former long-time Cleburne resident Marshall "Paddy" Vose passed away recently at his home in Mansfield, Texas.
Marshall had attended Cooke Elementary School and Cleburne High School. During his early years, Marshall was heavily involved in 4-H activities. He also enjoyed showing swine and took several ribbons for his Durocks.
Marshall graduated from CHS in 1967 where he had been an integral member of the Fightin '26 Yellow Jackets. He attended Texas A&M, earning a degree in finance, then received his master's in banking after studies at Texas Tech and SMU. For several years Marshall owned and operated Security Mortgage Co.
Marshall was born Sept. 24, 1948, to Marian and Marshall Vose Sr.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Marian; his wife, Heidi Jo Vose; children, Tiffany Vose, Shannon Beck Null and husband, Todd, Kristal Gortat, Seth Vose and Ashley Vose; grandchildren, Christopher Tye Vose, Austyn Vose, Megan Gortat, Zakary Gortat, Crystal Stutes, Emily Null, Braedon Stutes, Parker Stutes and Jaxon Miller; siblings, Marsha Fay and husband, Phil, Sheila Vose, Linda Walker and husband, C.W., and Casey Vose; and nieces and nephews, Clint Walker, Chad Walker and family, and Danna Jones Demma and family.
The family will have a private service and will soon have a celebration of Marshall's wonderful life.
