Larry Norman Moore
December 1, 1952 - July 5, 2018

On Thursday, July 5, 2018, Larry Norman Moore, husband, father, brother, son, and faithful friend passed away surrounded by family at his home in Kerrville, Texas.

Born December 1, 1952 to Sue and Norman Jefferson “N.J.” Moore, Larry grew up on the family farm in Weslaco, Texas with his brother and two sisters. Larry attended Weslaco High School where he excelled in academics and athletics. As a young man, he joined the Texas National Guard and attended Texas A&M University where he graduated with a Masters degree.

On June 30, 1979, Larry wed his sweetheart Linda West. Over the next 39 years together they built and raised a loving family in Kerrville, Texas. Larry was known for his extreme dedication to anything he put his heart into, above all his family. This dedication spurred him to create and sustain three successful businesses over his lifetime. He was an avid golfer, loved the mountains and enjoyed spending time with his many friends. He was known for his quiet generosity, fierce loyalty and uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way, especially in their time of need.

Larry will be reunited with his son, Nevada Shane, who died in infancy. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda Moore, and four children Aubry (Ashley), Alyssa (Ryan), Travis (Sydney), Maggie and his 11 grandchildren. He will also be fondly remembered by his parents, Sue and Norman Jefferson “N.J.” Moore and siblings, Dee Ann (Larry) Wilson, Dow (Denise) Moore, and Andra Moore.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Larry may be made to the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
