Round Rock-Sean Alexander O’Brien of Round Rock, Texas passed away unexpectedly on July 1, 2018 at his home. He was 39 years old.
He is preceded in death by grandparents Richard Olsovsky and Charles and Madeline O’Brien.
He is survived by his parents Charles and Linda O’Brien; His siblings; Jason (Kristine) O’Brien, Catherine O’Brien and Christopher (Bianca) O’Brien; nephews Thomas and Nick O’Brien; aunts and uncles Carol (Clarence) Hanzelka, Donna (Mike) Montez, Sean (Ellen) O’Brien, Eileen Seal, Mary Ann (Peter) Brady, Timothy (Rita) O’Brien, Terrence O’Brien; grandmother Lillian Olsovsky; plus many cousins.
Sean was born and raised in Victoria, Texas as a Roman Catholic; a member of Our Lady of Victory Parish. He was God’s gift to us; a gentle, thoughtful, kind and generous soul. We will remember him always, knowing he is with the Lord.
He excelled in his studies at Our Lady of Victory, St. Joseph’s, University of Texas and Texas A&M, graduating with top honors. Sean is a 1996 UT National Merit Scholar. After graduation he worked 17 years for Texas as a Chemical Engineer in TCEQ Air Permits Division. He made many friends there and loved his job. Sean maintained life-long friendships with classmates who will miss him dearly. We all will.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Resurrection Cemetery in Victoria, Texas with Father Kristopher Fuchs officiating.
