Brian Kelly Robertson
1977 - 2018

Brian “B-Rob” Kelly Robertson, age 40, died on June 27, 2018, in Houston after an intense and exceedingly brave battle with sarcoma cancer. He was born in Houston, Texas on July 7, 1977. He graduated from Cypress Creek High School (’95) and Texas A&M University (’99). From his time at A&M, Brian was a proud Aggie and Pi Kappa Phi member, and a passionate football fan. Upon graduation, Brian quickly put his God-given engaging personality to good use in his work, eventually becoming a nation-leading medical sales representative where he was able to help others receive life-changing medical equipment. Not defined by his career, Brian poured his life into service and friendship to others, most visibly through his years as a Young Life volunteer at Bellaire High School and Episcopal High School, but also in countless other ways. Amidst all his accomplishments and involvements, he prioritized his faith and his family and was a dedicated husband and father. Brian will be remembered for his great humor, quick wit, ample generosity, continual kindness, and sincere desire to follow Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emmett and Gerrie Stewart, and Otis and Veda Robertson. Other relatives preceding him include his nephew Emmett A. Jones, his uncles David Draper, Steve Stewart and his uncle and godfather Ray Robertson. He is survived by his wife, Julie and three children, Avery, Reese, and Corey; his parents, Bobby and Cathy Robertson; sister Dana Osborn, her husband Lucas, and their children Lucy, Harper, and Jonah; father-in-law Bruce Johnson and his wife Mignon; brother-in law Ben Johnson, his wife Amy, and their children Walker and Caroline; and many other relatives and friends.
