Bruce Head(1943 - 2018)
HEAD, Bruce Bruce Charles Head passed away on May 31, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. Bruce was born in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia on April 9, 1943 to Charles and Carmel Head. He graduated from Birdville High School in 1961 and then enrolled in Texas A&M University where he studied Aerospace Engineering. During his time at Texas A&M, Bruce developed a passion for skydiving while in the A&M Corps. After graduating from Texas A&M in 1965, Bruce worked on missiles for Lockheed Martin as a system engineer. Bruce's passions in life included skydiving, golfing, vacationing to Hawaii to "play" and supporting his beloved Texas A&M. Bruce loved his family very much. He was a father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Bruce is survived by his wife, Martha Head; the mother of his children, Sheran Dunigan; his children, Melanie Marshall, Christine Davis and her husband, Van, and Melissa Head; his grandchildren, Amanda Coarse and her husband, Robert, and Jessica Weatherholt and her husband, Daniel; and his two great-grandchildren, Makenna and Lia. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Carmel Head, and his daughter, Catherine Head.
