Alan Chuong Tham That Ton
December 26, 1996 - April 26, 2018
Alan Chuong Tham That Ton was born on December 26, 1996 in Houston, Texas to Ashley and Alex Ton. He was a Senior Biomedical Sciences major at Texas A&M University and was a member of the Pre-Dental Society and Texas A&M Tennis Club.
Alan passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at his home in Cypress at the age of 21. He will be deeply missed by family and friends but will never be forgotten.
Alan graduated with high honors from Morton Ranch High School, Katy in 2015 where he was an annual straight A’s student. Alan was a 2015 Recipient of the Katy ISD Award of Excellence in the field of Social Sciences. Alan was a member of the National Honor Society and the Science National Honor Society. He was on the varsity tennis team and participated in the Katy Students Run program.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
He is survived by his parents, Ashley and Alex Ton of Cypress; daughter, Sophia Ton of Cypress; sister, Aileen Ton of Cypress; grandparents, Thuynga Nguyen and An Do of Katy; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and relatives.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Schmidt Funeral Home Grand Parkway Chapel, in Katy, where funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2018.
