Thomas C. Fausnacht passed away on April 3, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on July 8, 1936 in in El Paso, Texas to Clay Austin Fausnacht and Minnie B. Horn. Tom lived a full and happy life. He married his first wife Vivian Fay Elston in 1957. That same year he joined the United States Air Force. He became a Navigator and later a Pilot. He flew missions over Vietnam flying in supplies to our Soldiers in C141, C130, C131 and other various planes. One of his greatest honors was returning our fallen Soldiers home. After returning home from Vietnam Tom served as an Air Traffic Controller at Travis Air Force Base until his retirement in 1977. Tom was the loving father of 4. Donna Ohlenburger, Debra Fausnacht, Larry Fausnacht, and Dawn Walker.Tom graduated from Texas A&M in 1979 and opened his own landscaping company shortly after graduation. He ran the business with the help of his wife and 4 children. His wife Vivian sadly passed away in 1988. Tom later reconnected with his high school sweetheart Shirley Pace Neely and they married in 1989; with this union came 4 more children Kathleen Foust, Richard Neely, Gina Ohmes and Scott Neely.Tom and Shirley were happily married until her passing in 2015. Tom said he loved his life and if he had to do it all over again he would not change anything. He had no regrets and was blessed to be able to live his dreams as a navigator and pilot. Thomas was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Vivian Fausnacht; 2nd wife, Shirley Pace Fausnacht; son, Larry Fausnacht; 3 sisters: and one brother. He is survived by his daughters, Gina Ohmes (Jay), Kathleen Foust, Debra Fausnacht, Donna Ohlensburger (Steven), Dawn Walker (Jeff); sons, Richard Neely (Leslie), Scott Neely (Melody); brother, Bobby Fausnacht; 23 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews. SERVICES Visitation will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 beginning at 11:00am, with Funeral Services at 12:00pm at Northern Hills United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Ft.
