James G. Tegen
March 9, 1939 - April 22, 2018

James G. Tegen, 79, Green Bay, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday evening, April 22, 2018. Born March 9, 1939, in Fond du Lac, he is the son of the late George and Virginia (Nourse) Tegen. Jim is a graduate of Chilton High School, Class of ’57, and graduated from Carroll College and Texas A&M where he received his Masters in Computer Science. He served in the US Air Force for 21 years and is a Vietnam veteran. Jim married the former Doris Mae Straka on June 19, 1965.

The couple was blessed with five children; Alan George, Aron Lloyd (Sue), Alice Marcella (Bill) Peterson, Ann Virginia (Andrew) Rigdon, and Adam Edward (Jenny); four grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Brady, and Carly; two great-grandchildren, Lexi and Lilly. He is further survived by one brother, Jerome (Sandy) of Oklahoma.

Visitation will be at New Hope Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 2401 Deckner Ave., Green Bay, Wed. April, 25, 2018, from 9am until the time of the service. Funeral service, 11am at the church with Pastor Jim Ferguson officiating with full military honors to follow. Burial in Kossuth National Cemetery, Kellnersville. Malcore (East) Funeral Home is assisting the family.

The family extends a special thank you to the caring staff of Woodside Lutheran Home and for all the support and prayers that were offered up on our behalf.
