Cam Fannin Jr.(1945 - 2018)
lubbock- Cam Luther Fannin Jr., aged 72, Lubbock, TX resident, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2018. Cam Jr. was born in Houston, TX on May 22, 1945. He was the son of Cam Luther Fannin Sr. and Anne Gray Fannin. He is survived by his children; daughter
Mollie, of Granbury, TX, son Cam III and daughter in- law Kristen, of Vail, CO; as well as his two brothers Stephen and wife Marilyn, of Lubbock, TX and Richard and wife Barbara, of Houston, TX. He is predeceased by his son Austin and his parents. Cam Jr.
was a proud Aggie, who practiced law, and graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He was in the first graduating class of the Texas Tech School of Law in 1970. Cam Jr. loved to travel with his kids, enjoyed the great outdoors and the
beauty of nature, had a unique but undeniable sense of humor unlike any other, was notoriously frugal, and had a keen appreciation for the arts. He will be forever missed, adored, and admired by those whose lives he touched. A gathering in remembrance of Cam
Jr. will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Ransom Canyon Memorial Chapel, located at 91 East Brookhollow Drive in Ransom Canyon, TX. Please join anytime between 2-4PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Audubon Society, www.audubon.org;
or to the National Park Foundation, www.nationalparks.org.
