Merion Herbert McDonald Jr., age 76, of Houston, Texas was born February 3, 1941 and passed away January 11, 2018. Herbert will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years, Carol and his children, Brian (Katie) and Dennis and (Merideth). Herbert is also survived by his sister, Adell Stanley; his 4 grandchildren, Megan, Grace, Maeve, and Madden and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Herbert was preceded in death by his siblings, Jeanette Stark, Shirley Corliss, Walter "Sonny" McDonald. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at 11 a.m. The visitation and funeral service will be held at Mission Bend United Methodist Church, 3710 S Texas 6, Houston, TX. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in memory of Herbert McDonald to: Mission Bend Methodist Church.
