Aidia Sue (Crisp) Davis, 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Round Rock, Texas, surrounded by children and grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 16, at the Memorial Cemetery of College Station.
Sue was born April 25, 1937 to Samuel and Dorothy (Headrick) Crisp, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was the devoted mother of eight children and shared a deep faith in Jesus Christ with her family and friends.
Sue selflessly sought to serve and to brighten the lives of others. Sue loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved sewing and oil painting and many of her works are on display in the homes of her children. Sue was
a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and her children and grandchildren served as missionaries throughout the world, including the United States, Quebec, Denmark, Lithuania, Chile, England, Japan, Ireland, and Belgium.
Sue attended Texas A&M University as a full-time student while in her late 50s and was a life-long learner.
She is survived by a sister, Barbara Brown of Ringgold, Georgia; her eight children, Donald and wife, Debra, Charles '94, Michael '85 and wife, Sally, Kevin '94 and wife, Katherine, Randy and wife, Valerie, Jeff, Rhonda and husband, Steven Keen, and her youngest
daughter, Julie; grandchildren, Lauren Ross and husband, Anthony, Alicia, Connor, Andrew '09 and wife, Jessica '06, Collin '12, Kevin Jr, William and wife, Brenna, Spencer '17 and wife, Hailey '15, David '20, Joseph '21, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Hannah, Sarah, Jeff,
Marissa, Nicholas, and Andrew; and many great-grandchildren.
