HOWARD ELDER
Howard Stanton Elder, 66, passed away of cancer on Saturday, December 16, 2017; attended by Envision Hospice and surrounded by loving friends at the Elder family home in El Paso. Prior to his passing, he said: " I have the best friends in the world". He is
predeceased by Hal Elder and Billye Lee Bell and survived by brothers: Boyd Elder and Mack Elder, half sister: Linda Russ, nieces: Flaunn Jamieson and Shaula Elder, nephew: Soren Thompson, grand nephews: Lakoda and Rhyder Jamieson. A Burges High Graduate,
he earned a BOSA@ NMSU, a Masters @Texas A&M, and had recently retired from TDPW after 13 years of service. An avid sportsman, fishing was his passion and was always in pursuit of the "LUNKER". For family and friends, a Celebration of Life will be held in
his honor in Valentine, TX, date to be announced.
