Laura Sutton Stabell, 57, of Tomball, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2017 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 8, 1960 in Charleston, WV to the late William Sutton and Mary Watts.
Laura graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1978 and from Texas A&M University in 1982. She was a woman of many endeavors. She was a warm, active, friendly, and caring person who loved to play golf. She treasured every opportunity to be with family and friends.
She shared a passion for traveling with her husband Walt to various states and countries. Above all, she was a devoted wife and mother whether at home, on sports fields, or while volunteering at the kids' schools. She was taken too soon, but she will always
be in our memories and our hearts.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Walter William Stabell, III; son, Walter William Stabell, IV; daughter, Jacqueline Marie Stabell; mother, Mary Pfaff Watts; father and mother-in-law, Walter William, II and Barbara Jean Stabell; sister, Martha Manson
and husband Craig; brother, Bill Sutton and wife Sherry; brother-in-law, Jeff Stabell and wife Kelly; brother-in-law, Bob Stabell and wife Ana and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors Saturday, January 6th from 10:00AM to 2:00PM at St. John Lutheran Church, 15235 Spring Cypress Road, Cypress, TX 77429. A memorial service will begin at 11:00AM with Pastor Doria officiating. A lunch reception will follow the
service.
