John Martin Quinn, of The Woodlands, Texas, passed away Friday December 15th, 2017. He was born in Medford, MA on Nov. 19th 1960, first born son of John and Theresa Quinn. John graduated from Spring H.S. Texas and proudly received a Bachelor degree from Texas
A&M University. He was happily married and adored his wife, Stacy L. Quinn, for the past 14 years.
John worked in Convenience Retailing / Marketing for Shell, ExxonMobil, E-Z Serve and RaceTrac, among others. Before launching his Convenience Retailing career, he owned a Shell station in the California Bay Area. Outside of work, John's love of family, friends,
and supporting his community was visible to everyone around him. He quietly & humbly volunteered often through the years in Children's ministry, homeless ministries, and gave generously. His hobbies included golfing, hiking, and traveling. Two of those pursuits
were ended as well as dreams of a long life when he was diagnoses with ALS in May of 2016. He was a devoted family man, Christian, and beloved friend to many.
He was preceded by his 1st wife Joan (Bielamowicz) Quinn, and mom Theresa. John is survived by his three children Andrew, Aidan, and Autumn, his wife Stacy, his dad John Quinn, brother Kevin M. Quinn, and sister Brenda Linney and a large extended family.
The viewing will be held Thursday evening 5-8 pm at the Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday December 22nd 2017, at Woodlands Church/ Chapel – see details below.
