Dallas Cowboys) in fact, Chuck loved all sports and was himself an avid golfer. He was also a student of history with a special interest in the American Civil War and proud U.S. Army veteran, having served eighteen months in Korea.
Studying scripture and having his testimony as a believer and a committed follower of Jesus Christ brought Chuck great happiness and he joyfully served his church and his fellow man. For many years, he was a deacon at First Baptist Church and Sunday School
department director, and he served on numerous committees there. His final professional position was as Facilities Administrator for the church.
Chuck was generous with all his resources and was actively involved in many local civic organizations, frequently serving on their board of directors.

Inc., Lynes Inc., Tri-State Oil Tools Inc., and Precision Machine Products Inc. Twenty-five of those years, he served as President and/or CEO with 18 to 1600 employees. Chuck traveled widely during his professional life, including trips to seventeen locations
in Europe and three in the Far East. He occupied a leadership position in each company, though he was always willing to do the hard ground-level work that made the companies effective.
