Waide Petsick
July 2, 1921 - October 23, 2013
Waide Petsick, age 92 of Temple formerly of Palestine, died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in a local nursing center. The family will have a private memorial remembrance.

Mr. Petsick was born July 2, 1921 in Erath County to John Franklin and Winnie Alice Stewart Petsick. He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Force during WWII. He married Priscilla Rodgers July 18, 1953. She preceded him in death on December 22, 2007. He worked as a ranch manager for many years. He had been a resident of Temple for the past five years. He was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Marshall.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Pamela Parent. Survivors include a daughter, Carla J. Smith of Temple, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
