James Stillman Alderson

James Stillman Alderson, 70 of Star, TX died suddenly October 2, 2017 at his home. James was born July 21, 1947 in Lampasas the son of Charles Stillman Alderson and Elizabeth Jane (Kirby) Alderson. He married Sharleen Clary September 4, 1971 in Lampasas. He was preceded in death by his son Kirby James Alderson November 1975.

James worked as the only plant specialist in the state for the NRCS.



Visitation is Friday October 6, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral service is Saturday October 7, 2017 at 10:00 am at First Street Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Hurst Ranch Cemetery near Star.



Survivors include; wife, Sharleen Alderson

Daughter, Mitzi Reynolds (Patric)

Sons; Cody Alderson and Kyle Alderson

Grandchildren; James and Josh Curry, Kayne, Ethen, Malachi and Paige Reynolds, Wyatt Alderson, Madelin Fisher, Ellie and Lizzy Alderson.

Brothers; Dwayne Alderson, Randy Alderson (Marsha), Myron Ray (Sharon)

Parents, Charles and Jane Alderson

Mother-in-law, Dorothy Collins

Brothers-in-law; Harrel Clary (Marilyn)

Charles Clary (Linda)
