Saunders A. Schreiber
SANTA FE — Saunders Abram Schreiber, 54, died Friday at his residence. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Monday at James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque, Rabbi Martin Levy officiating. Cremation was held at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock.

Born Dec. 17, 1933, in New York City, N.Y., Mr. Schreiber was an engineer with the U.S. Corps of Engineers in Galveston. He was a resident of Santa Fe for the past seven years, formerly of Galveston. He was a member of Temple B'nai Israel in Galveston, served in the U.S. Air Force, was an active ham radio operator and was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, Texas City Group.

Survivors include a daughter, Stacy Lopez of Hitchcock; a son, Scott Schreiber of La Marque; sister, Maurine Waters of La Marque; brother, John Schreiber of Galveston; and two grandchildren.
