Lucy Morley
June 23, 1950 - August 20, 2017

Lucille Morley, 67, of Bertram passed away peacefully at home on August 20, 2017 after a yearlong battle with cancer. She was born in Houston to parents Lee and Leone Hodges.
Lucy, as she was known, graduated from Lamar High School in Houston and from Texas A & M University in College Station in 1975. In 1973 she married Edward Morley in Austin. In 1976 they moved to Colleyville, where Lucy was an accountant for Southland Royalty/Burlington Resources for 25 years. Since retiring at age 50, Lucy has enjoyed crafts, quilting, sewing, playing bridge, scrapbooking , yoga, swimming, reading and spending time with friends and family; especially the loves of her life , her two grandchildren.
Over the last 30 years her summers were spent in the mountains of Colorado at her dream cabin.
She is survived by her husband Edward, her son Dan, her daughter Laura and son-in-law Robin and grandchildren Isabella and Cristian, her brother Laurent and wife Linda, her brother Louis and wife Nini, her nephews John and Andrew and her nieces Rachelle, Danielle, Gabrielle and Katherine. Her parents and her brother Lee preceded her in death.
A gathering of friends and family will be scheduled at a later date at Jacob's Well Cemetery in Wimberley.
Arrangements were made by Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet.
