DONALD FORTENBERRY OBITUARY
1932 - 2017
Donald Fortenberry Sr. 85 of Woodway passed away on July 24, 2017 at Home. He was born March, 9, in Canton, MS in 1932. Mr. Fortenberry married Jacqueline Faye Braesicke in San Antonio, TX in 1957 HE retired from TSTC as an Automotive Mechanic Instructor. He also worked as a Sales Representative for many years before he became an instructor He attended high school in San Antonio TX After High School he joined the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean War Mr. Fortenberry graduated from Texas A & M in 1988. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jackie Fortenberry, daughter DeeAnn Avalos and her husband, Danny, Donald Fortenberry, Jr. and his wife, Leeann, Dennis Fortenberry and his wife Maggie. The following grandchildren: Tiffany Hurtado Chelsea & Jonathon Spivey Hillary & Jared Psencik Christina Avalos Chase Fortenberry Ciara Fortenberry Faith Fortenberry Dezmon Fortenberry Abby Fortenberry William Patrizi. Great Grand Children are: Jaxon Psencik Liam Psencik Wyatt Spivey Christian Avalos Chris Gish Elijah Michalewicz, Shaely & Christian Van Wagner Zion & Zephaniah Mr.also is survived by his nephews and nieces, Mr. Fortenberry �was preceded in death by his parents, George and Icie Fortenberry, his siblings, Jack Forenberry and Karen Corley.
