Leo Clayton Williams
(January 2, 1928 - February 5, 2010)

Leo Clayton Williams, 82 of Desdemona, Tx. He was born January 2, 1928 in Desdemona, Tx. His parents were Clayton Hope Williams and Beulah Kay Williams. He was married to Eloise Wisdom on January 23, 1949 in Desdemona, Tx. He died in Eastland Memorial Hospital on Friday, February 5, 2010. Graveside Services were held Monday, February 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Desdemona Cemetery.

Mr. Williams was a farmer/ rancher; served in the U.S. Navy WW II; He was employed as an ag teacher, physical science teacher and principal before moving to Eastland Co., where he has lived and farmed since 1972. He was a member of various agricultural organizations, served as State Director for Farm Bureau and locally on the Soil Conservation Board. Survivors include: One son, David Williams; three daughters, Donna Moore, Delores Helms and Enid Williams; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister Evelyn Yardley, also of the Desdemona community. He was preceded in death by: His wife, Eloise Williams; one brother and one sister and his parents.
