Rev. Dr. Hollie Lee Briscoe
February 2, 1933 - June 22, 2017

Rev. Dr. Hollie Lee Briscoe, Jr., 84 of Richmond, passed away on June 22, 2017. He was born on February 2, 1933 in Houston to the late Hollie Lee Briscoe, Sr. and Nora Hurst Briscoe.
He graduated from Texas A & M University where he was a member of the Corp of Cadets and the Singing Cadets. He served as Lt. in the U.S. Air Force. Hollie earned his Doctorate from Southwestern Theological Seminary, and was founding Pastor of Carancahua Chapel, and was Pastor of several churches in Texas and Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife DeLaine Briscoe of Richmond, daughters Leigh Ann Warzecha of Dallas, Susan Greenwood of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Wendy Tingle of Buies Creek, North Carolina, Wendy Kirkby of Naples, Florida, sons Blake Briscoe of Eastland, Dan Briscoe of Richmond and Jerrod Fehmel, 18 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and sister Elaine Briscoe of Kensington, Maryland.
Memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, June 26, 2017, at Carancahua Chapel at the Carancahua Community Center with Dr. Mike Zimmerman and Pastor Bob Keptra officiating.
Memorials in his memory may be made to South Texas Childrens' Home, P.O. Box 759, Beeville, Texas 78104-0759.
