Ronald Edward Stuart, Sr., 75, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 6, 2017. Born in Houston to Leander and Eloise Stuart, he was a "fighting Texas Aggie" and loved his Aggie tailgates and football season for over thirty years.
After 53 years of marriage to his high school sweetheart, Margaret Ann Darby Stuart, he is also survived by their son, Ronnie Stuart, Jr., daughter in law, Tammy, and four grandchildren, Timothy Blake Stuart, Lindsey Gayle Willis, Callie Rene Abney and Carleigh Breann Abney. He was so proud of all of them. Ron worked in the print paper industry and had many friends there, especially in the old Monarch Paper days.
Most of all, Ron loved his Lord and prayed for his family and Higher Ground class members with an abiding faith.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Schmidt Funeral Home, 1344 W. Grand Parkway South, Katy. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Second Baptist Church Williams House, 19449 Katy Freeway, Houston.
Contributions in his name can be made to Star of Hope or Salvation Army.
