passed away January 4. He was born on October 26, 1930 to Phil Randol Sr. and Ethel Mae Randol in San Antonio, Tx. He was raised and went to high school in Dallas, Texas. Phil graduated from Texas A&M University and completed a masters at Wichita State University. He came to Kansas to teach at Wichita Collegiate and formed their first football team, later teaching at several schools in the Wichita area including Curtis Junior High, Murdock Site Center, head of the math department at East High and also taught at WSU and Butler Community College. He was a 50 year resident of Andover and active in many organizations including a member of the Andover City Council. Phil was a golf fanatic and enjoyed being on the links whenever he could but as a teacher and a coach he was always an advocate for kids and youth.

Survivors include wife of 60 years, Patsy; son Phillip; daughter Shannon Bulger(Brian); grandchildren Christopher, Colin and Kelly.

Memorial service will be held on Mon, Jan 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Andover United Methodist Church, 1429 N. Andover Rd.

Memorial donations may be made in Phil's honor to the Salvation Army-Wichita Citadel Corps at 1739 S Elpyco, Wichita; the Andover Community Food Bank at 1429 N. Andover Rd., Andover or to the community through the Andover United Methodist Church's Kids Clubs.
