Ernesto L. Hernandez(1923 - 2016)
* Ernesto L. Lieutenant Colonel Hernandez Lieutenant Colonel Ernesto L. Hernandez, 93, went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2016 in Brownsville, Texas.
His Passion was golf, but he also enjoyed bowling and dancing. He was a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the U.S Air force who fought in World War II. After serving in WW2, he attended Brownsville Junior College and went on to be a proud graduate of Texas A&M class of 1950. After serving his country honorably he began a wonderful career with Texaco Inc. and retired in 1979 as a Regional Manager.
Left to cherish his memory are his children; Ernie L.(Norma) Hernandez Jr., Edward A. Hernandez, Elizabeth H. McCreary, siblings, Eddie (Josie) Hernandez, Virginia Clive, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and numerous niece, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 with a prayer service at 7:00 pm and Honorary Honors provided by the VFW Post 2035 at 7:30 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
