Fred (Tommy) Ward ’68 passed of natural causes December 17, 2015. He was in company D-2, and completed his degree as a non-reg. He begin his career with Gulf oil in marketing, moved to Steam Boat Springs, CO, where he served on the Ski Patrol. He returned to Austin and was hired by AISD as a bus mechanic. He retired from the Austin Independent School District as a bus mechanic. There was no obituary and a grave side service. He is survived by brothers William R. ’66 and Sanford T. Do,’68 and several nieces and nephews. One of his niece’s is Kimberlea Ward Staton MD, ’90.
