Maj. Brian Alan Beavers, USAF, (Ret.)

May 18, 1963 - October 26, 2016
Resided in Colorado Springs, CO

Brian Alan Beavers passed away early morning Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He was born May 18, 1963 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Glenn and Bonnie Beavers. Brian graduated from Texas A&M University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Engineering.

He joined the United States Air Force in 1987 and had a successful twenty year career, retiring in October 2007. Upon his retirement, Brian joined the Missile Defense Agency serving as a Systems Engineer, supporting Ballistic Missile Defense System development, test, and operations.

Brian was the quintessential American. He was fiercely patriotic, ardently honorable, and ever faithful. Brian loved to spend time in the mountains with friends and family. He was an avid skier, loved auto racing, and was a staunch Second Amendment advocate who cherished freedom. He lived an exemplary life and was a role model for us all.

Brian was a great father, grandfather, husband, and a loyal friend - always there for others in need. His irreverent sense of humor, kindness, and generosity for others will be sadly missed.

Brian is survived by his wife, Diane; his sons, David (Danielle) Bower and Justin (Lindsay) Beavers; his daughter, Michelle (Kyle) Polk; his grandsons, Tyler Flood, Aiden Bower and Landon Bower; his parents, Glenn and Bonnie Beavers; his brother, Brett Beavers; and his sister, Abigail Newman.
