Jeffery “Jeff” Edward Stucker, 60, of Colleyville, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 17, 2016 at his home.

A Memorial service to celebrate Jeff’s life is scheduled for Friday, September 30, 2016 at 2pm at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake, Texas. Private inurnment ceremony will be at White’s Chapel Columbarium and Memorial Garden.

Jeff was born on September 2, 1956, in Shreveport, LA, to James and Marilyn Stucker; graduated from Lake Highlands H.S. (1975); earned a B.S. in Engineering from Texas A&M University (1979) and also completed an Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School in 1997.

Jeff proved himself to be a strong asset in business during the 36 years he worked in the Commercial Construction Industry, primarily in management roles in business development. One of Jeff’s greatest strengths was fostering strong client relationships initially with Dal-Mac Construction (’80-’99); then continuing with Byrne Construction Services (’99-’13); completing his tenure with Ridgemont Commercial Construction (’13-present).

In the community, Jeff helped organize and lead philanthropic projects to build homes for lower income families (“Hearts and Hammers”), which he was involved with the very day of his passing.

Jeff was passionate about The Fighting Texas Aggies (Gig’em!); hunting/shooting sports; George Strait and “Real” country music; compiling his favorite playlists and spending time with family and friends (preferably while eating at Herrera’s).

Jeff was a loyal, driven, dependable and prepared man. By example, he raised the bar for his family and for those with whom he worked and shared his personal life. He will be greatly missed by a commandingly impressive number of friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kim of Colleyville; his stepson, Brian Estes of Lubbock; his stepson and his wife, Jason and Maggie Estes of Ft. Worth; his mother, Marilyn Stucker of Dallas; his sister and her husband, Pam and Steve Bertone of Houston; his brother and his wife, Mike and Debbie Stucker of California; his sister, Jill Stucker of Dallas; and many, many dear friends and fellow Aggies.

The family suggests memorials be made to The Texas A&M Foundation, in lieu of flowers.
