Harold William Muller
August 23, 1930 - August 15, 2016
Harold William Muller, 85, of Kingsland, Texas passed away on August 15, 2016. He was born to Henry William and Lillian (Reichardt) Muller on August 23, 1930 in Houston, Texas.
Mr. Muller proudly served the United States of America in the US Air Force rising to the rank of a drill sergeant. After the Air Force Harold graduated from Texas A&M and became a United States Department of Agriculture poultry inspector. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, the Dallas Cowboys and tinkering with cars.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Kingsland, Texas, son, Harold “Bill” Muller, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida, daughters, Sandra Stehling and her husband Larry of Austin, Texas, and Cathy Galloway and her husband Bobby of Highland Village, Texas, stepson, Dan Osborne, stepdaughter, Joyce Rodriguez, grandchildren, Jennifer Hertenberger, Matt Stehling and Becky Stehling, step grandchildren, John Kizer, Chase and Carson Osborne, great-grandchildren, Noah Hertenberger and Molly Stehling, and sister Dee Flournoy and her husband Royce of Houston, Texas. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Louise.
A visitation is planned for Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11:00 o’clock A.M. with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 o’clock noon at the Schaetter’s Chapel, 301 E. San Antonio St. in Fredricksburg, Texas with interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery at 304 W. San Antonio St., in Fredericksburg, Texas. The Reverend Roxanne Alexander of the Victory Church in Marble Falls, Texas will officiate. Following interment, a reception will be held at the Holy Cross Family Center next to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. An online register can be found at www.PutnamCares.com.
Serving as pallbearers will be Allan Coon, Daniel Rech, Daniel Osborne, and Darryl Kuntschik.
