Mr. Jerry Bruce

Jerry Bruce was born in Dallas, Texas on June 22, 1934 to Tom & Susie Bruce and passed away in Kaufman, Texas on December 25, 2013.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 51 years, Joann. Left with treasured memories are son Curtis Bruce & wife Sue, son Terry Bruce & wife Ann, son Robert Bruce & wife Kristi, grandchildren Lance, Lindsey, Samantha, Travis and Dakota and a host of family loved ones and friends.

Jerry retired from Ingersoll Rand after 35 years of service. He was also very active in community service. He was the manager of Combine Water Supply. His services included terms as president of the Crandall ISD and board member for the water department. He and Joann ran the clock and announced for Crandall football games and he was the first Mayor for the city of Combine. Jerry enjoyed hunting, traveling and reading the newspaper and he cherished his time with his family and grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm. Friday December 27, 2013 at Roselawn Funeral Home Seagoville, Texas. Graveside service will be 10:00am at Roselawn Memorial Park Seagoville, Texas.
