Horace Guy Spiller(1941 - 2016)
March 4, 1941 - July 29, 2016
Horace Guy Spiller Jr., eldest son of Frances and Horace Spiller was born March 4, 1941 and died July 29, 2016. Guy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betsy Hoover Spiller; daughter, Kimberley Spiller Behrens, her husband Keith and their children Ashton and Emmie; daughter Heather Spiller Hare, her husband Jimmy and their daughters Harper and Ava; and son, Horace G. "Trip" Spiller III, his wife Jacky Galitzky Spiller and daughter Abby Galitzky; his brothers and sisters, and many friends and relatives.
Guy was a 1963 graduate of Texas A&M University and a graduate of St. Mary's University School of Law. He was a landman and local attorney in San Antonio, Texas where he and Betsy lived for the past 45 years.
Funeral services for Guy Spiller Jr. will be on Tuesday August 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham. Prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. the family will receive friends and relatives.
The family wishes to thank Encompass Hospice of San Antonio for the loving care provided to Guy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Boys and Girls Club of Washington County, San Antonio Pets Alive! or to an organization in need.
