OWEN L. MCGUINESS
OSYKA, Miss. - Owen L. McGuiness, 81, died Wednesday, July 17, 2002, at his home in Osyka, Miss.
A native of New Orleans, he was a comptroller for the Mississippi Department of Motor Vehicles and a gamecock farmer. He was also an honor graduate of Texas A&M and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Marlar McGuiness of Baton Rouge; and his stepson, Tristian Smith of Baton Rouge.
Graveside services were held at Osyka Cemetery Saturday.
McKneely Funeral Home of Kentwood was in charge of arrangements.
