Harold Glenn Luedecke
May 11, 1947 - May 16, 2016

Harold Glenn Luedecke was born on May 11, 1947 in Houston, Texas. He was the son of Gilbert & Ozelle (Shadix) Luedecke. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and resided in Farmersville, Texas for the past fifteen years, coming from McKinney, Texas.

Harold’s youth was spent in College Station, Texas, where he was active in church and FFA activities. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1970. Harold enjoyed his working career, using his dairy science degree in the commercial production of ice cream for some forty years.

Harold passed away on May 16, 2016 at his home in Farmersville at the age of sixty-nine. He is survived by a sister, Keneta Harvey, and brother-in-law, Gary Harvey, of Rockwall, Texas; sister, Gilda King, and brother-in-law, Larry King, of Quitman, Texas; sister, Florene Bond and brother-in-law, Jeff Bond, of Sugarland, Texas; and sister, Kevier Ezell, and brother-in-law, Andy Ezell, of Starkville, Mississippi and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, south of Centerville in rural Leon County. A brief visitation will take place on Thursday afternoon from 1:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
