Bobby Ray Heath, 83, passed away peacefully Friday November 13, 2015 surrounded by his family. Funeral: Thursday, November 19, 2015 11:00 am at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst. Burial: Thursday at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: Wednesday, November
18, 2015 6 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home.
Bobby was born January 19, 1932 to Orville & Sallie Heath in Bowie. He graduated from North Side High School in 1949. Bob attended Texas A&M before joining the Army during the Korean War. While in the Army he attained the rank of Lt. Colonel, serving his country
for 20 years. After retiring from the Army, he worked for North Central Texas C.O.G. Bob completed the Airport Study for the state of Oklahoma and then returned to Texas where he worked with Planning & Engineering at DFW Airport until he retired to their ranch
in Sunset, Texas.
Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather & friend.
Survived by: Wife, Barbara of 62 years; sons, Robert E. Heath, Michael B. Heath, wife Laura, Kevin "Chip" Heath; daughter, Dee Pollock, husband, Theron; grandchildren, Kelsey Kirkland, Jason Heath, Brittany Harper, Allie Heath, Bryanna Johnson, Bethany Heath,
Katie Heath, Kevin Heath, Samuel Heath, Riley Pollock, Makenna Pollock; sister, JoAnn Sheen and many other extended family & friends.
