Paul Herndon, MD

Dr. Paul T. “Pete” Herndon is a native Texan, growing up in West Texas. He attended Midland Community College and graduated from Texas A&M University with the first of two Bachelor’s degrees. His second Bachelor’s degree was from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed his general psychiatry residency at West Virginia University. Completing his subspecialty at the University of Colorado specializing in children and adolescence. Dr. Herndon has been serving the Austin area for the past seven years, specializing in the following treatments for children, adolescence as well as adults: major depressive disorder, anxiety disorder (including generalized anxiety), post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive/compulsive disorder, pervasive development delays(including autism and Aspergers), bipolar effective disorder and other mood disorders. He also specialized in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
