William D. Old II
October 6, 1930 - April 7, 2015
William D. Old II, COL, Infantry (US Army, Retired) also known as Don, Bill, Willie and Sir, passed away peacefully at his home on April 7, 2015. He was born at the Station Hospital at Fort Sam Houston on October 6, 1930. Don graduated from Allen Military Academy in 1948, United States Military Academy at West Point in 1954, and received a Masters Degree from Texas A&M University in 1963. Col. Old served in many positions during his military career, serving two tours in Vietnam. One of his favorites was serving as Commander of the Florida Ranger Camp.

He is survived by his wife of fifty seven years, Carole, and their children, Laurita Old Hudec and husband LTC (USAF Retired) Ricky A. Hudec, and the Honorable William D. Old, III and wife Sheila L. Old of Seguin, as well as seven grandchildren, Evan Allen Hudec, Amanda Couquiesee Hull and husband Cody D. Hull, Meghan Spencer Hudec, Addison Couquiesee Old, William Spencer Old, Ashley Elizabeth Old, and John Clayton Old. He is also survived by his sister, Sally Couquiesee Houdayer and husband Paul of Las Vegas, NV. He will missed by his best furry pals, Bentley and Keyta.

The family is deeply grateful to Dr. Robert Schnitzler, Dr. Hoan Pho, Dr. Jerome Fischer, Cindy Shaw RN, Victoria Papperelli RN, Marcia Loomis RN, and many other caregivers, too numerous to mention, as well as Victoria Perez, who has been with the family for many years.
