S. Julian Arredondo, 71, of Bryan, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015, surrounded by his family and friends. Julian was born in Bryan, Texas November, 1, 1943 to Severo and Elisa Arredondo.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian burial is set for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Monsignor John McCaffrey officiating. Burial will take place in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Julian graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1961. He received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Texas A&M in 1970. He proudly served for the U.S. Postal Service for 42 years when he retired in 2006. Julian and Yolanda were married on June 23, 1968 at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Bryan, and were blessed with three sons. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Julian was a true gentleman who always lent a helping hand to anyone. He leaves behind countless friends and loved ones and will be remembered as a soft spoken, selfless, and humble man. His commitment to his family and friends shined bright throughout his life. 

Julian was preceded in death by his parents, Severo and Elisa Arredondo, of Bryan; his father-in-law, Lawrence Chavarria, of Bryan; his brother, Mike Arredondo, of Dallas; and his son, Efrain Arredondo, of Kyle. 

Survivors include his dear wife, Yolanda of Bryan; son, Chris Arredondo and wife, Kathy, of Bryan and their two children Aubree and Christian; son, Frank Arredondo and wife, Kristi, of Dallas and their two children Ethan and Carter; daughter-in-law, Bridget, of Kyle and her son Lucas; mother-in-law, Benita Chavarria, of Bryan; sister, Mary Lou Vaca, and her husband, David, of Bryan; sister-in-law, Wanda Hernandez and her husband, Luis, of Bryan; brother-in-law, Lawrence Chavarria, and his wife, Sandra, of Bryan. 

Memorials may be made to Saint Joseph Catholic School or Church 507 E. 26th St Bryan, Texas 77802.
