David Henry Skusa, 69, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at home in Bayfield, Colorado. Private family services have been held in Vallecito, Colorado.

Mr. Skusa was born February 18, 1945 in Seymour, Indiana, the son of Henry and Marjorie Skusa. He graduated from Texas A & M University. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War and was highly decorated in combat. David continued to serve his country in various capacities in different countries.

He is survived by his wife George Skusa, and a son, Brian Skusa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
